PRE COLLECTION SS 2011THE MARINE WORLDmood: dark, glossy, undiscovered world under the water...inspiration: life with different shapes in different envinroment, fish anatomy and its movementpatterns & sillhouettes: embroidery, hand paint techniques, strong angles and shapesThe Marine World is name of the first PRE Collection, which I produced during my studies at university having my course with embroidery designer and tutor www.richardsorger.com. The kingdom of the deep sea is another dimension of life and became a true inspiration to me before I started to sketch raw designs. Important for creating this collection was the shape, which had to be identical to original form of skin of the creatures and their movements in the water. Their skin should be visually and technically reproduced in the contrast of patterns and fabrics. Sharks, jellyfish, corals were the inspiration for the main colour palette.
